New single: Pig’s Ravine

Listen to the new single “Pig’s Ravine” from our forthcoming 7th album due out in December.

Digital Bells

Los Bloggies has moved over to social media. I know, I know — what a travesty! This is just a temporary solution while I figure out how to fix this website and bring all the old Flash objects into the 21st century before Adobe kills the site. Follow us: @doggieslos.

Crosswalk Tones

The crosswalk tones: a staccato fourth from A to E at a brisk pace to let you know how to walk. These tones are found on New York crosswalks. What do they sound like where you live?

Myspace

This is the old Myspace header back when Flash ruled the Net. It was a simpler time, yet there were way more websites to visit. People had homemade fan pages with gifs and midis galore. Imagine that kind of freedom! Although the dark seeds of the social media craze were already planted, it seems quite tame by today’s standard, where everyone worships a tiny black monolith like the 2001 apes. After several iterations of headers, I settled on the above animation around 2009, exploding the overlays of a psychedelic medical illustration, probably inspired by that one Tool album.

There’s a stray sine wave in the corner for some odd reason. Watch the video if you have trouble getting to the kill screen.

Hudson River Craft Beer Festival

Los is headlining the Hudson River Craft Beer Festival in Beacon on Saturday, September 14th. Def Leppard’s very own Rick “The Thunder God” Allen will be sitting in with us on drums. Just don’t wiki that motherfucker!

We play an hour set at 4pm of our latest album Selah. Let’s hope The Thunder God can handle it! Just kidding. This new stuff is so easy, Johnny Got His Gun could play drums.
